Here is a time line of important events that happened that led to the collapsing of Britain and the occupation of Germany. Of course not everything is listed on here but take it that everything what took place in WWII still took place in our AU setting. However, the main point for you to remember within the board is, it is set as though Operation sealion (a plan to take over Britain that in fact failed) actually worked. Of course, this information is not essential to the board but more information has been requested. So if any of you are confused, the following article should help you out.
An underground Operation dubbed the HOUNDS are first discovered in 1904 by German officials looking for better, and more concealed ways to defend their country. It was a dormant, premature Operation with little more than ten operatives at the time. The HOUNDS were a prototype campaign no one but highly regarded officials knew anything of, and at the time, were not even off the ground yet.
Those working to develop it took nearly twenty years to collect and test various methods of training for these specialized soldiers.
Plans to carry out 'Operation Sealion' are put place.
The Blitz begins, crippling the UK. Continues on until Britain surrender.
A major influx of HOUND spies are placed across the country to settle as normal citizens in various roles and report back on the structure and state of happenings in Britain.
RAF (temporarily) crippled by Luftwaffe. Weakening a great portion of British defence. Britain fights to recover while Germany refuses to relent their attacks, pushing at England's doors.
Royal Navy launch a full scale evacuation at Dunkirk.
Operation Sealion a success. Germany breaches shore of England. Begins taking over. Given the success of German troops at Britain, Hitler focuses the might of his military on Britain. Attack on USSR by German soldiers is postponed.
Germany attacks USSR
Siege of Leningrad taking place.
Pearl Harbor on America
America declares war on Japan. With Germany focused on Britain (and the upcoming attack on USSR), Germany doesn’t declare war on America. America doesn’t declare war on Germany; America is involved only in the Pacific theater.
German continues full attacks on the country, penetrating the streets and raging terror on the citizens of London.
Death toll still climbing, London still being heavily Blitzed. Citizens of Britain lose hope.
Britain surrender to German forces.
Germany begin to infiltrate the UK government with their own and slowly take full control of the country.
Scenario ONE - A young group of rebel RAF pilots plot an attack on a German patrol squad. Foolishly lacking in experience and overall strength, the young RAF squadron were shot down but were successful in displaying the first signs of hope and rebellion within the city.
Scenario TWO - Men and women all over London were taken in under suspicion of knowledge regarding the recent rebellion attacks. German officials looking relentlessly for links to the source and growing rumour of an underground rebel group. Findings are inconclusive.
Scenario THREE - After years of dormancy since the interruptions of war, the Winter of 1944 annual dance is hosted by the new German government in hopes of collecting London together in one place. A quieter, more laid back attempt at gathering the information they had not managed to receive from the interrogations. Though thoroughly masked of its intentions, its guests and annual goers still tread uneasy steps.
Himmel is announced as the new Prime Minister of Britain. Germany now have complete control and release new laws and orders to keep the citizens under their thumb.
America declares war on Germany/Germany declares war in retaliation. The USA promise to help Britain.
